Frequently asked questions
How do tokens work?
Every REST API request consumes tokens — most requests cost exactly 1 token. Heavier batch operations cost a flat rate: 25 tokens for batch clearing house calls and 50 tokens for batch portfolio states. Your plan includes a monthly token allowance; you only pay overage if you exceed it.
What happens if I go over my included tokens?
Nothing breaks — your requests keep working and overage is billed per 100k extra tokens: $60 on Starter, $25 on Growth, and $10 on Scale. The bigger the plan, the cheaper the marginal token.
Do all plans include websocket streaming?
Yes. Every plan includes websocket access — the tiers differ in scale: concurrent connections, subscriptions, message throughput, and the number of L2/L4 orderbooks you can stream. Full limits are in the docs.
Is there a testnet environment?
Yes — Testnet APIs are included on every plan, so you can build and test your integration before going live.
What are premium endpoints?
Unique, data-heavy endpoints created by Hydromancer and not present in the original schema — like allFills and market data snapshots — are available as separate add-ons on top of any plan. Talk to us to enable them.
What does Enterprise include?
